iPod Video Battery Customer Feedback

"Even though I'm familiar with electronics having designed numerous circuit boards myself, the iPod was always a mystery to me the way it looked impossible to open short of breaking the unit. My original battery was fading into the sunset and I ran across the website of iPodJuice.com. After reading that changing batteries was simple (providing of course you were careful doing it) I ordered a battery and one of their special tools for opening the beast. When I received the battery it took me under 3 minutes to change it out and the iPod looks as good as new. Wow! How things can appear to be impossible yet be so simple to do. The only thing to remember is "easy does it," no need to force anything. But it's a snap to do. Thanks again iPodJuice. I'll recommend you to anyone."

"Man that was the worst time I forgot where my iPod was. See, I left it out in the rain one night when I was sitting on my back porch relaxing watching the evening spring lightning storm. We get wonderful lightning storms here in Florida. I live in Orlando too, and it is a fact that we are the lightning capital of the world. One of my friends is actually a lightning researcher who moved up here after he graduated from Alabama State University, but I digress. The story was that after sitting outside for a half hour waiting for the storm to really take off I listened to my iPod. I always found that AC/DC always got me in the mood to watch lightning. When the storm finally took off I set down my iPod on the table and sat back to enjoy the show. Then my friend called. We chit chatted for a half a hour or so about work and then when the lightning was over I went back inside to go to bed. The next morning I went out on my damp porch and grimaced when I saw my iPod sitting on the table where I left it. It was soaked. With a frowning face I went to work and told my friend about my mistake. He cheered me up by saying that there are plenty of third party reliable iPod repair and nice iPhone repair companies out there that can repair iPods for less than half the cost of buying a new one. When I went home I started researching iPod repair companies and settled on one in San Antonio, Texas. The guy on the phone was cheerful and said if I sent my iPod in he would gladly take a look at it. A couple days later the guy called back and said that he received my iPod and after performing some tests on it the likely culprit was the LCD screen. This was good he said because LCD screens are much cheaper to replace than the circuit board inside and I managed to get the iPod repaired and sent back to me way faster than I expected. It felt good to have it back and I even had all of my old songs on it. Well now I am sure to be more careful about where I put my iPod, and found out how being forgetful can end up costing me money I didn't need to spend. I am thankful for that company and the honest repair job they did for me."
